Five-week Intensive Course on Embedded Software Design

Oak Systems is pleased to announce a five-week certification course on “Embedded Software Design” to introduce nuances of software design and development techniques using C-language for embedded applications and to enhance the confidence level of participants and improve their skills.

Course Objectives

With rich experience of the faculty and focus on practical aspects, the course aims –

  • To introduce the participants to the intricacies of software development for embedded domain
  •  Methods and industry best practices to reduce implementation errors
  •  Optimization techniques to write efficient C-code
  •  Defect prevention, safety methods for making systems more robust and fault-tolerant
  •  Overview for Processes and Standards – CMMi, IEC61508, ISO26262, DO178
  •  Complete software development life-cycle scenario using case study
  •  Hands-on with SDLC exercises, including with custom h/w board offered to each candidate
  •  Finer aspects of system and hardware design interfaces

 

At the end of the course, participants will have:

  • Understand and appreciate finer differences between application and embedded development
  • Insight into the industry practices used for design and implementation
  • Awareness of C-language and Processor related tips, tricks and traps for embedded devp
  • Process and disciplined approach to developing code
  • Confidence to face job interviews; deserving candidates could be considered for a permanent Placement in the company
