Test Engineer

Primary Skills:

Testing experience in embedded software/firmware.

Experience in writing test cases for embedded software and cloud-based systems &
Automating the manual test cases using Python.

Proficient in test automation and scripting languages in Python.

Experience in working with continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins.

Source control: Git, SVN, Bitbucket.

Knowledge of Selenium and Appium.

Experience in Manual Testing.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Create/Modify test cases for testing embedded software/firmware and cloud based system.

Develop and maintain automated tests scripts that provide functional and regression test coverage for the products.

Utilize existing test frameworks, tools, and techniques to enhance the testing process for efficiency and quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers and QA) to drive software quality and best software test practices.

Apply software development process methodologies to test automation.

Generate and maintain documentation of continuous delivery methods as required.

Resolve issues as required in a timely manner.

Able to work with a team of dedicated product development professionals to produce high quality software in a collaborative environment.

Experience: 4-6 years

Education: Bachelor of Engineering (E&C, CS)
