OAKSYS Celebrated 17th Anniversary
Oak Systems completed 17 years of its operations on 24th June 2015. What a great journey it is. Over 7000 person months of effort, over 160 projects across several domains, technologies and tools. We thank all our clients, present and past employees, well-wishers and associates for their whole-hearted support and encouragement. At this moment we reassure all our clients about our resolve to continue our Quality Software Services with much more focus and rigour.
We celebrated our 17th anniversary with a different act – our team sailed out to visit an NGO, Adamya Chetana in Bengaluru. Adamya Chetana is a voluntary organization working in the field of social development.
Our Director Mr. Pradeep Oak, who is also a trustee in Adamya Chetana, gave a brief introduction about Adamya Chetana on arrival.
We watched a short film on Adamya Chetana that gave further insight into its activities.
Then, a visit to the ‘Annapoorna Kitchen‘ of Adamya Chetana, which cooks food for 72000 children from 300+ schools on a daily basis. The meals are packed in stainless steel containers and distributed to schools in customized vehicles. The teachers and volunteers serve the hot meals in the school.
The meal varies everyday- rice and sambar, curd rice, pongal, bisi-bele-bhaat, sweet pongal, daal, Roti, Daliya etc. With the assistance of the Government, volunteers, donors, and the corporates, Adamya Chetana have been able to reach thousands of school children day after day. Important thing to note is that the Kitchen is Zero-Garbage kitchen, probably the only Zero-Garbage Kitchen of its kind in the entire country (amd may be in the world !!).

Later, we had hot-tasty-nutritious meals at Adamya Chetana.
We surely celebrated our 17th anniversary in style and are excited for the years to come. Thanks so much for making this a successful event. It was such a great place with great people running it.
